Anthony is a local guy, which is why he is so passionate about ensuring that the people of his community get a fair shake when the system comes down on them. He was born and raised here in Central New York and graduated from West Genesee High School. After college, Anthony came home and earned his law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. He began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney for a law firm in town, working there for a year before transitioning into a role as an Assistant District Attorney for Onondaga County. After finding success in the courtroom, Anthony rose through the ranks quickly, and was promoted to the position of Bureau Chief of the Violent Crimes Bureau. Soon after, Anthony was promoted again to the Homicide Bureau, where he was charged with handling the county’s most serious cases.
